Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 13 April 2026

Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may and may not do with Speax. It applies to all users and supplements the Terms of Service. By using Speax you agree to this AUP.

The goal of this policy is simple: Speax is a tool for constructive work. Use it to build, research, and create. Do not use it to harm people, break the law, or abuse shared infrastructure.

Prohibited uses

You must not use Speax to:

  • Generate illegal content — including content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdiction of your targets or victims.
  • Generate CSAM or content that sexualizes minors — this is an absolute prohibition with no exceptions. Reports will be referred to relevant law enforcement authorities.
  • Create or distribute malware — including ransomware, spyware, trojans, keyloggers, rootkits, DDoS tools, or exploit code intended to harm systems or users.
  • Conduct targeted harassment or stalking — creating content designed to intimidate, threaten, or harm specific individuals.
  • Doxxing — researching or publishing private personal information about individuals without their consent.
  • Impersonate individuals or organizations — creating content that falsely purports to come from a real person, company, or government body in ways intended to deceive.
  • Spam and unsolicited bulk communications — using Speax to generate or send unsolicited mass emails, messages, or posts; or to harvest contact information for spam purposes.
  • Unlawful automated scraping of third-party sites— systematically extracting data from websites in violation of those websites' terms of service or applicable law (e.g., to build competing databases).
  • Cryptocurrency mining — using Speax sandboxes to mine cryptocurrency or perform proof-of-work computations.
  • Deploy phishing or fraud infrastructure — creating pages, emails, or assets designed to deceive users into surrendering credentials, money, or personal information.
  • Circumvent platform controls — attempting to bypass rate limits, account controls, billing systems, or sandbox restrictions.
  • Violate third-party AI provider terms— using Speax in ways that would violate the terms of Anthropic, OpenAI, or Moonshot AI (e.g., adversarial probing of those providers' models for jailbreak techniques).
  • Any other unlawful use — using Speax in violation of applicable law, including but not limited to intellectual property law, privacy law, and export controls.

Consequences of violations

We take policy violations seriously. Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, we may:

  • Issue a warning — for first-time or minor violations.
  • Suspend your account — temporarily, while we investigate.
  • Terminate your account — permanently, for serious or repeated violations.
  • Report to authorities — for illegal activity, including CSAM, threats of violence, and fraud. We are required to report certain categories of illegal content.

Account termination for policy violations does not entitle you to a refund of unused credits or subscription fees.

Reporting abuse

If you observe Speax being used in violation of this policy — including by others — please report it to us:

We treat all reports seriously and investigate them promptly. Reporters' identities are kept confidential to the extent practicable.
